This program is strongly rooted in faith in Jesus Christ and uses the Bible and prayer as its

faith

primary source of rehabilitation and restoration. Teen Challenge has more than 80% success with those who go through the program because of faith. Dream Life is experiencing a similar success rate. When people find faith, they find strength and hope. Due to the fact that people in Dream Life are coming out of challenging lifestyles, part of their restoration involves incredibly strict guidelines. These guidelines include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Absolutely no contact with anyone except immediate family.
2. No cell phones, laptops, pagers, emails. MySpace programs cease until program is over.
3. Family calls are once a week, by permission, with supervision.
4. All music, internet, movies, or television programming can only be enjoyed by permission only. Those in the program cannot listen to or watch anything that promotes violence, greed, pride, lust, or anything that goes against the values established by Dream Life.
5. Authority must be respected and obeyed immediately and without question.
6. No dating for the first year you’re in the program.
7. No visits to home for the first year in the program.
8. No visitation from family or friends without permission from leadership.
9. Those in program can have no money.
10. No cursing, drinking, smoking, piercings (can’t wear earrings), or tattoos (they can’t get new tattoos while being in the program).

Dream Life is designed as a three year program. It’s not limited to three years because every person’s development is different. However, at least this much time is allotted for all students for their restoration and rehabilitation to enable to rightly reunite with society.
